How to represent abstract ideas? Such as emerging technologies, societal shifts, or scientific breakthroughs ā€” in a way that's not only visually striking but also immediately understandable to a broad audience.

As part of a larger production team, Iā€™m constantly collaborating with directors, writers, and editors. My role demands not just design skills, but also the ability to effectively communicate ideas and rationale to team members who may not have a background in motion design.

1. Simplification and visual metaphors

  • Use relatable visual metaphors and simple geometric shapes to represent abstract ideas.
